This silvered and gilt verre églomisé paneled chest features two short and three graduated
drawers. Each drawer includes traditional brass handles
Decorative side handles and turned wood bun feet complete this unique lustrous chest that adds high-end style, storage, and display space to any room in your home.

This chest is part of the églomisé collection. The technique of applying gold or metal leaf to the underside of glass was revived and named after the French decorator Jean-Baptiste Glomy. The eponymous process of ‘verre églomisé’, literally ‘eglomised glass’ is continued by craftsmen at Theodore Alexander with the finest patinated metal colors such as gold, silver, brass and copper to achieve what can only be described as a stunning effect on what is already beautifully designed furniture.
